Southwick , West Sussex, lies on the South Coast of England about 4 miles west of Brighton. Its origins are a combination of a fishing village and a farming community. The River Adur flows out to sea at the boundary between Southwick and Shoreham-by-Sea and its estuary has become Shoreham Harbour- even though most of the harbour is in Southwick!
